2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD - Blower won't stop (Motor Control/Resistor changed)

Greetings,

 

I have an odd problem on my parents' truck and am trying to figure out what next step to take.  Recently their blower would not shut off even when turning the vehicle off.  Searching online the common answer was the blower motor control module / resistor.  I've replaced that but unfortunately the motor still continues to run even when off.  If it helps their AC has automatic controls.

 

Any idea what to check up the chain?
