LOKI67 Posted July 12, 2020 Posted July 12, 2020 04 silerado is throwing c0268 code. ive followed the chart for troubleshooting i found on this forum. ive cleaned my grounds and ohm'd my power and ground wires to ebcm. those rang out good. i opened my ebcm and soldered the known trouble points and reinstalled and still throw the same code. i believe what my issue is, the actual motor itself. it ohms out at 0.2ohms. i believe 0.3-1.0 is the range it should be in. so my question is, can i replace just the motor or do i have to replace the whole module with the valve body? id really like to replace just the motor if possible to prevent needing to bleed the brake system. is this possible?
Npottz Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 You figure this out? Having the same problem I think. C0268 (motor stalled) on a 2005 Silverado 1500HD I just purchased. Had ABS light with above code and C0226 (left front speed sensor signal missing). ABS was not working Cleaned the grounds and the speed sensor code went away and can now feel the brakes working much better in the pedal and hear the pump. The C0268 comes back immediately on takeoff no matter how many times I clear the code.
