Hello everyone.
looking for some help trying to get my AC to work. I have a 2014 Sierra 1500 and the AC has went out on it 3 times so I’m getting fed up with this truck. Found a leak coming from the condenser, replaced the condenser, took it to a shop to evacuate and refill. But my AC still won’t blow cold air. Compressor is working fine, no signs of leaks, lines going into the cab feel cold at the touch. The AC will only blow neutral air nothing cold at all. Any advice on what to do next?

It could be any number of things.  Check the compressor, if its not spinning, it could be low on R-134a.  Or, the compressor may have failed.  You can add UV leak fluid and check for a leak yourself if you like, Autozone will loan you a leak detector tool.  Some may have an electronic sniffer.

My AC has now failed 7 times and so I ordered a 2020 3.0L durmax from my dealer 4 weeks back or so. Should be here in another few weeks.

~38k, compressor exploded, replaced, $1.2k

~92k, compressor and condenser failed, replaced, $2.2k

~94k, Schrader valve failed, replaced (free)

~95k, lower AC line failed, replaced (free)

~97k, Schrader valve failed, replaced (free)

~99k, Schrader valve failed, replaced $300

~99k, upper AC line failed, replaced $400

If your current shop cannot locate a leak, my suggestion would be take your truck your truck to a different shop or dealer and get a second opinion.

hi thinks for the input!
the shop I took it to this week filled it with R134 and did a leak test. Drove around all week, came back at it’s still holding pressure. I’ve went to two different shops to inspect for a leak and nothing.. the shop that refilled it basically told me that the AC guy is out until Tuesday and I leave on a big camping trip Tuesday morning so would love to have an AC by then
