99 5.3l sierra 1500 need stereo adapter..

I've been searching for a stereo adapter and two are coming up.. I do believe it's the first picture shown, but the second picture also comes up, which I dont believe is correct for my truck, but I do think I have the amp option..

 

Do I need to get both gray and the amp connector?
