Hey guys a couple of months ago my 2015 Silverado 1500 5.3 started making a loud squealing noise whenever I took a drive that was over 45 minutes. Over time it is taking less and less for this noise to become president. I have crawled all over and under the truck trying to figure out where it is coming from using a stethoscope and I have had no luck. It’s not belts or pulleys. Recently a cycling noise has started and is now associated with it. I have a sneaking suspicion it may be coming from the transmission. I have read about the torque converter issues leading to transmission failure. But I don’t have any of the main signs as far as clunking during shifting, the shutter, or any speckles in my tranny fluid.

GM can’t give me an answer as to what this is. Hoping that somebody out there can help me. This is my first post on the forum so thank you in advance for your taking a listen.
