2015 Sierra 1500 Hitch Receiver Class

Hi Everyone, hoping you could clarify something for me.

I'm looking to buy that 2015 Sierra 1500 and looking at the specs it says Max Trailering Capacity is 11700  lbs.

But I could not find any reference as to what class is the hitch receiver on it.

When I asked the dealership, they could not confirm if it's a class 3 or class 4. 

They'll just say it's a manufacturer installed. 

One guy from that dealership said it is a class 3 hitch receiver. From my understanding, class 3 receiver is rated way below that 11700lbs.

The hitch on my ‘16 non max tow says it’s rated for 12,000 lbs with 1,200 lbs tongue weight. Must be a class 4.
