Battery draw and blowing low beam headlights

I have a 2000 Tahoe that has seemed to come up with some issues.  It's the newer model of the 2000 year model.  Anyway I've all of a sudden got a battery draw.  It will completely drain my battery over night.  If it does drain it all the way and I hook a battery charger to it I start getting a loud clicking noise from the left side of my dash by my light switch.  This clicking has only happened twice and both times it has blown both of my low beam headlights.  Not sure if it is the light switch itself or what is causing this, so hoping someone has had the same issue and can help out.

Sounds like your charger might be feeding too high a voltage. Only things that will blow headlights are high voltage, or excessive vibration.

 

As far as the draw goes, disconnect the alternator, and see if it goes away. If that checks out you'll have to go fuse by fuse until it goes away to narrow it down.

Does it have a light in the glove box or underhood that's staying on?

No glove box and no the underhood light isn't staying on.  One thing I forgot to put in my original post was that when I am having that clicking when hooked up to the charger I also have my gauges bouncing around.  Specifically my oil pressure gauge.

Are you sure the charger isn't  AC?

Yes, I'm sure.  I use a Noco G1100 charger.

I've narrowed it down to either the light switch itself or the BCM unit.  I'm going to start with the light switch as it's the cheaper of the 2 and see if that fixes it.
