Couple Thoughts on My Loaner Silverado Custom

For the last two weeks, as the dealership replaces my steering column, I've had a brand new Silverado Custom as a loaner. I have found a couple things I both liked and disliked about the truck, and figured I would share my thoughts.

 

2020 2.7 Crew Cab.

Loved the Satin Gray, beautiful color.

The color matched bumpers are a great touch! Wish I had them on mine.

The Apple CarPlay was crisp and dark, unlike mine. Makes me think it is a display issue, not an Apple issue.

LED TAILIGHTS.... WHY ARE THESE ON CUSTOMS BUT NOT LTS?

 

The Meh

Truck has plastic everything. While it isn't necessarily all a bad thing, it's just everywhere. Would be better if it were soft touch.

This truck made me realize how little support the seats really give. My truck has Katzkins installed, and I think it help soften the seats, but there is very little padding in these seats.

Touch screen display reset itself after 20+ minutes of driving.

I didn't mind having a physical key, but its one less thing to think about when you have keyless.
