I have a 2006 Chevy C8500 Duramax in my fleet, it was recently backed into in our yard by a customer, this lead to us replacing the front left turn signal. After this was complete, we noticed the turn signal only worked when the headlights were off, the hazards worked fine as well. Once the lights come on the turn signal goes solid, the ticker still works and the light on the dash works for both sides. I cleaned up all the connections on that side and reassembled, still nothing. Any help is appreciated!

Try switching the left and right lights and see if the problem follow the new light. If it does the the new light is junk. If it doesn't then its in the wiring. The new light isn't a Dorman is it?
