Heated Seats

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I have a 2001 silverado LT with heated leather seats. I read in a post earlier that somebodys heated up real quick, with in a block or too. My seats seem to take at least 2 or 3 minutes, by that time my truck is already warm. I haven't tested the passanger seat yet, I never sit over there.

Thanks

Mine take around a minute and a half.

Just something to think about...If you are wearing thick pants and a coat (like I do in the winter  ), you wont feel it as fast.

My 2001 LT (with just one setting) take about 2 minutes to start feeling warm.

My 2003 LT (with three settings plus choice of butt/back or butt-only) start feeling warm much faster.

Mine start to get warm within a few blocks (maybe a minute or so, by the time I pull out of the garage). My wifes Honda takes about 3 times as long to get warm.

Da Wife's '04 Hoe, seats heat up really quick! Like about 15 or so seconds before you notice the heat... I always seem to hit one of those buttons when I hit the window switch!

James.
