2018 Silverado Back Up Camera

     I have a 2018 Silverado with the back up camera on the tail gate.I was thinking how nice it would be to have a back up camera on the license plate frame of my trailer.That way,I could see behind my trailer when I am using it.Does anybody know if it would be possible to buy a license plate backup camera and display what it shows instead of the tailgate camera when using the trailer? I am thinking that it "might" be possible, but I am not at all familar with this.Thanks.

I'm looking at getting a license plate camera with rearview mirror display, finding a way to have constant power to it, will help with lane changes, as well.

In Minnesota you don't need a license plate on 3000# and under . I have power via the license plate light. I run with my lights on always. Day and night.

( I want the fool about to pull out in front of me to see me coming)

I was planning on using the place where the light is to mount the camera. I want a wireless setup with a separate small screen mounted somewhere on the bottom of the dash . Maybe the ashtray. What do you think?

Brandmotion has an option https://brandmotion.com/product/universal-dual-mount-cmos-camera-9002-7601/ and then you would need an interface depending on which screen you have, they have those also and are in their vehicle guide, I switched out to their FullVue mirror/camera
