Radio Issue at Start-up (2020 AT4)

Hey forum, first post here after lots of reading.

New 2020 AT4 owner coming from a 19 ZR2 Colorado and I'm having an issue now when starting the truck and the radio comes on with the last radio station playing (as expected), then a few seconds later it goes silent and also locks me out of the left side steering wheel favorites change to toggle.

If I navigate to the radio page in the main display and switch presets, the radio comes back on and all is well, but gets annoying as I have to do this each time - I had the same (similar) radio in the ZR2 and did not have this issue.

Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, does anyone know a fix?

Definitely a 'first world problems' issue but I thought I'd throw it out there to see if there's a fix.

I had that happen once but never again. I believe I put it into drive before the radio had sufficient time to boot up, so it got confused. If you are having it consistently, maybe try to do an update to see if there is a new software version out there.

Appreciate the reply. I will double check to see if there's an update.

If it was just occasional I probably wouldn't have created a new thread but this is every single dang time. lol

I had a similar issue yesterday where there is no sound from the radio or voice commands. I can raise and lower the volume according to the bar indicator, but it acts as though it is muted. I tried turning the truck off several times and still get the same issue. This morning everything is fine. Glitch?

I'm taking it in for service soon and will ask then unless it keeps happening prior.

This is exactly what's happening to me. Please let me know if they were able to diagnose when you go in for your service.
