Has anyone installed a Powered Subwoofer?

I was wondering if anyone had installed a powered subwoofer yet under the rear seats or found a compact box for a small sub to bump up the stock system without removing the whole under seat storage?

I installed the kicker hideaway HS8 and replaced my door speakers with kicker DS and it sounds pretty good.  Powered sub does good and it comes with control knob to get bass when you want it.  I ran all my wires down the passenger side, ran power wire through rubber grommet to battery, tied the speaker wires to plug under pass dash, and grounded to one of the rear seat bolts. Mounted to the front of the storage with 2 brackets and used the straps also.

I got the Subthump powered box (comes with bass control knob) along with an Infiniti 10" sub. I got less than $400 for the whole set up.

Tapped into the wires coming down the channel under the door sill. I replaced the door speakers with a set of rockford fosgate's and the overall improvement is pretty good. The sub I linked fits nicely under the front seat, but does interfere with moving the seat all the way back. One of the steel bars under the seat catches on it just a bit. If I tried, I could probably find a way to mount it where it doesn't interfere, but I just haven't had a need to yet.

Built mine.  Stock storage thing is junk.  10" sub rounds out bose system.  I can give some rough dimensions later.

Thinking I will build my own custom box, minus that, how did you guys get the signal to the sub-woofer.  Did you cut into one of the rear speakers?
