Technically nothing has to be done to run 33's on stock wheels because factory 20/22's are already damn near 33's in size.

You need to worry about wheel offset. Those brodozer wheels that everyone loves to run seem to stick way out and that is where the rubbing issues comes in. Not to mention increase wear on bearings and ball joints but nobody thinks about that so nevermind.

Check the offset of the rims and take it from there. You may only require a front leveling kit to get the front up 1.5-2ins to help clear them.

Like said above, all depends on wheel width and backspacing. On stock 20 inch wheels you can run a 275/60/20 which is 33 inches tall and 10.83 inches wide with out even a level up front.   But to answer your question, I'm' not sure what backspacing you would need on a 20 x 12 if you want to fit a true 33 x 12.5. I'm sure someone on here will know.
