2015 Silverado Mylink Update

Hello Have A Question?. Is there any updates on the 2015 Silverado model for CarPlay on the mylink system?

No updates to add CarPlay unless you change out the radio and HMI modules. CarPlay wasn’t available until 2016 sometime on the trucks. It’s a different hardware so an update won’t get you what you want.

That sucks.. but I can buy a 17/18 year module and it will work right?

Yes, you need the 2.5 version, you should have the 2.0 in your truck right now (HMI).
