2015 gmc touch screen problems

So after 5 years my truck started to trip out on the touchscreen, changing the radio by itself i took the glove box apart checked the connections and blue plug trued everything i found on youtube and on this forum. After taking my trim off i looked up my part replacement for the screen , found used ones on ebay for $300 used from wrecked all terrians but didnt want the same issue to happen so i tried those gm parts direct websites that are half the price of dealers but in reality are dealers . I called around and emailed some. One that was 500 got back to me said they could not honor that price and they would either cancel or charge me $1000 because they did not make them anymore so i didnt bother with that site . I called another site and it went staright to a dealer parts dept , the parts guy didnt know i was calling from the discount website number but he told me that part was no longer made there was a new gm part number that replaced it and said it was out sourced eithwrway , he said you know what call them and see what they say so he gave me the number to the source . SPECMO ENTERPRISE (248)307-2570 they deal mostly with dealers i just told the young lady the dealer reffered me gave her my gm part#23383730 and they shipped out a replacement NO core $360 shipped cheaper than anyone and it fixed the problem. So wanted to share only advice i would give is pull your trim get your PART# and see if there is a gm part # that has replaced it since then and use the new #. My original part# was 23485743
