Good evening,

I was wondering if anyone has had this issue in the past.  From time to time when I start the truck the widown switches and the mirror controls don't dont work for about 20 min.  All the window and mirror controls don't work with the exception of the drivers side window switch, however all the individual switches for the doors do still work.  I took it to the dealership and they tried to replace the BCM and that didn't solve the issue.  I'm thinking a door harness issue.  Any thoughts

I had this happen in an older Pontiac Sunfire,  When I opened up the wires between the body and the door they were all in a state of disrepair.  Some were broken some were just cracked and getting ready to break.

Good luck

So it ends up that while I found a slice in the black ground wire in the main door harness, I actually only needed to replace fuse #8 in the drivers side fuse panel to get everything working again. Thanks.
