So I received AMAZING assistance on my tailgate issue so I'm going to ask again for help getting this truck to stick around for more than a year.

Power steering (says dealer) pulley and or belt squeal.  Can I replace just the drive (serpentine) belt and skip the two stretch fit belts?

Where the hell is the power steering fluid (I have no manual, TB is TALL and hard to see into with the massive cover over the radiator fan.

Gurgle on interior (heater core I assume).  Is this 'normal' as I have heat but I'd love to NOT hear it everytime I start it.  Can the air be purged without major effort?

Heated seats, what on earth did GM do?  My 17 actually got warm quick, this thing takes MILES to even seem like its on.  The remote start just doesn't warm the truck like my 17 did, how did they manage to wreck something that worked so well just two years ago?

I'll take ANY input you've got.  I'm a serial truck addict but it's a money loss game for sure.  I just want one that I like enough to keep for once.  My wife suggested personalized plates, 5 in 5.  5 trucks (2 new even) in 5 years.  What's happened to build quality I ask.

I think I can help with a couple of these questions/issues.

First the steering is electric so there isn't any power steering fluid.

When using remote start, the heated seats don't heat well if unoccupied and the heated seats are cancelled when the ignition is turned on. So, you have to manually turn it up when you get in the truck (See page 64 of the Manual linked below).

Here's a copy of your manual: https://my.chevrolet.com/content/dam/gmownercenter/gmna/dynamic/manuals/2019/Chevrolet/silverado-1500ld/2019-chevrolet-silverado-1500-ld-2500-3500-owners-manual.pdf

I feel like an old senile idiot after learning they no longer are electric assist and went full electric.  I'd have hunted for hours looking for a fluid tank.

I installed my tuner today and looked at as much as i can actually see.  damn it's tight in there and SO MANY COVERS!  I have a trusted mechanic I think I'll just have replace all the belts and the idler arm, solve all the issues with one bill.

Now there has to be a way to purge the air from the coolant lines.  I almost regret getting a truck so new nobody has the same issues and a killer YouTube video on how to resolve them yet.

Pretty stupid how it will keep the rear defrost on when remote start and then turning key on yet it won't keep the seat heaters on.  bah.

I've found the 'auto' climate control to kind of suck.  Other than the seats and steering wheel on with remote start i find that in the wisconsin weather it's better to manage it all manually.  the truck really wants A/C and the rear defroster on all the time.
