Poking around my truck I found this under my rear seat by my spare tire tool kit. It is zip tied to a hook and looks like it’s there from the factory but it’s empty. Anyone knows what goes in there. I was thinking maybe lug nuts security bit?

It's for when you're following a ford and parts fall off it. You can pick them up for the guy.

If I remember correctly, GM used to provide a pair of cloth gloves and a inexpensive rag/towel to kneel on when changing the tire that would have been in the bag. Not sure when they stopped putting it in the trucks.

Maybe back when you got a leather binder for the OM instead of a zip lock sandwich bag.
