Heat shield rattle.

I occasionally get a rattle from the heat shield underneath by the exhaust. Any ideas for a good way to fix?

Find the spot that makes the noise and either cut the shield to make it stop or find a way to attach it back so it stops making noise.

 

Hard to figure out what shield you are talking or the spot it's making noise.

When does your rattle pop up? Is it when you first start your truck or after its warmed up?

It seems to do it when I pull away from a red light

Have you crawled underneath & looked at it?  Might just need a bend in the right direction...
