I just purchased 2021 GMC AT4. I want to get the performance package and the dealer told me for the package and install 3000.00 That seems high since the option price is 2275.00 and If I buy it from GM accessories it would be 1800.00 for exhaust and not much more for air cleaner. I can definitely install, i have a lift and been around. This is my first GMC i was a Ford guy for years. Time for a change.

  I used to keep it clean, but now I just don’t care and yes, it’s very dusty. Maybe I’ll get a wild hair and clean it one of these days.

  I think the key point to longevity that may be being missed is the way the vehicle is being used. Long operating times with limited cold starts is one. Sustained speeds is another. Vehicles get better fuel mileage on highways for that reason.
