Thrush Mufflers

Just wondering if any of you have tried the Thrush Welded muffler?

I have a 21 RST dbl cab 6.2 and plan on removing the flapper (only have one upstream) and leave the resonators in tact.  

How does it sound and is there any drone?

Audio clips would be a plus.

Why not find a quality stainless steel muffler? There are plenty out there with a lot more than a 90 day warranty that sound just as good if not better. JMHO.

Saying stainless steel doesn't mean a whole lot until you start talking about what kind of stainless it is.

 

Like 304 stainless will still rust, been there done that here in Minnesota. Any new muffler I get or exhaust system I pick gets prepped and painted with high quality exhaust paint. I'm not shelling out $1,200-2,000 for a catback system from borla or something and even then it's still the muffler that creates the sound.

 

If you can't find someone with them just check out youtube. The 5.3/6.2's are going to sound just about the same on anything 2014+. So there is bound to be many video's on cars and trucks.

I just ordered the thrush welded muffler from Amazon for $54 so I will try to put a clip up in a few days.  For that price I don’t care if I have to buy 3 of them over the years.
