Finally got my Badlands 12,000 lb winch installed today.  Not much to look at and well that's the point!  Took some extra cutting to get the winch to fit into the bracket.  And takes some cutting of the bumper brackets to get the mount to fit/work.  Nothing structural had to be cut through.  Used this hidden winch mount from Rough Country.

Control box is relocated up into the engine bay and this winch has a wireless remote.  So I just have to turn on the disconnect switch near my battery and I have wireless remote capabilities.  Do not need to plug a cable into the winch.  Wired is available if the battery in the remote goes dead though.

I know not the best picture.  It's dark.  I can get better pictures tomorrow.  But not much to look at and that's the way I wanted it.

Also interested in where you mounted the control box. Have my winch and mount will be installing soon on my ‘16 Sierra
