Well, I think the lesson that I have learned here is to call as many shops as possible. I have called about five, and wow what a difference in price. The best shop has offered to order the shocks, install, and align for $579. I have called other shops that have wanted me to order the shocks and have them install and align for $470... so almost double the price when buying the parts. Crazy.

just bought a set for $439 ( AT4 set) for all 4 corners....

That is a good deal for all 4 shocks installed and alignment.
