P0741

Just dropped the 5th wheel upstate. 120miles 1 way all good. On the way home an hr into the drive got a p0700 and a p0741. Cleared the code. A hr and half later i get locked into 4th gear no cel. Get home hook up scanner and p0741 is in the history. This has been happening for 2 yrs. Thought it was my tune, put stock tcm tune in and changed fluids and filter 3 months ago. 15 2500 6.0 62k miles

Just dropped truck off at trani shop. They take my warranty. As soon as i.told him what truck he goes common issue. Hopefully be done by friday

Any updates?  Having a similar issue after having a tune from a reputable person.  I was not towing anything just driving an 83 mile one way trip each way.   I had transmission stuck in 4th and it threw the p0741 with no cel.  Then p0741/with cel came on on the return trip.  And checking the cel it was for the p0741.  Everything I am finding is pointing to the torque convertor.  Just did pan service and nothing of was substance found.

Full rebuild, no issues so far
