ForumUser Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Hi All, Not sure this is the right place to post a question on truck value? Don't have much other than usual NADA like materials to go on - anyone have reasonable idea what my 2017 4X4 High Country Silverado with 6.2L and 45,000 miles (new Michelins, four panel bed cover) would sell for to a non-dealer buyer? No accidents, nearly perfect condition. Market seems pretty tight so seemed like might be a good time to sell? North Florida. Thanks!
scrapen Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 (edited) Id suggest starting with a site like cars.com to see what they are going for locally. I have a lt2 and I see they are listed at 35-40..maybe see what one of those online car places offer. As with all cars and depending where you live, value can vary. Dealers are empty by me. My dad put a deposit on a 21 Tacoma which has a sticker of 34,200. They have a 2018 on the lot with just under 75k listed for 34,600. Edited May 23, 2021 by scrapen
lucas287 Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 In my experience, Carvana and Vroom give very fair offers, typically in excess of what a dealer gives on trade-in. I've used them as a benchmark several times and even as leverage for trade-in. 1
