197,500 Road Trip 9/1/2026 Did the 325 mile round trip to Hoerr Racing (Red Line Products Distributor) to pick up a few cases of select products I like. It was a blister today. 92 F when I left and 98 F when I came back with heat indexes running 103 to 110 F. Machines don't really care about nor are strained by the Heat Index directly but humans are, and I be one. That meant the AC was in service all day and THAT put a load on the system it does care about. Peak 98 F, Index 110 F, Oil temp 208 F, ATF temp 180 F, water 182-188 F. Road speed 60 mph. Wind 6 to 10 from the SSW. Trip runs all four directions. Long pulls 5 to 7% grades up and out of the Illinois River basin. The Mobil 1 Euro 0W40 is telling on itself with oil temps that high at that speed. The Red Line runs 197-202 F. But it is a PAO majority lubricant and that is one of the features of that base oil is its excellent heat absorption and rejection properties. [AMSOIL is up next] Filled at both ends of the trip and using the odometer and pump she netted 20.22 mpg on 75% Ethanol. Locally in mixed driving it has been delivering about 18.6 mpg. So Pepper with just short of 200K on the clock is giving 25% better fuel economy on the highway and 33% better in mixed driving. While on SAE *W40 oil with the AC on??? Fuelly.Com doesn't have any trucks of my spec on E85 but it has a bunch on gasoline and in practice they get the same mileage on gasoline Pepper does on E85 (@75%). 😱 -

Do you mean recycling them manually 3 times? Because I cannot get it to move at all power wise. -

I bought the Dorman pan a long time ago. I had sent PPE a few emails asking when theirs's might be available. 1st email said soon and second was never answered so I just went and bought the Dorman. It should be good. And yes, it's amazing how many people think the plug to the stand pipe is a drain...some on here believe that. -
