07 chevy tahoe engine swap

can i swap my 07 chevy 5.3 with vin 0 with a  04 chevy avalache 5.3 with vin t and if so what else do i need to do so

No, you can not do that.

 

The 2004 engine is a 24/1x engine.

                                                                 (crank trigger)

The 2007 engine is a 58/4x engine.

 

Then you have major differences in where the knock sensors are located, the camshaft sensor and a few other misc things. You need to replace your engine with a 2007-2009 for a direct swap. It must be a GEN 4 engine with AFM (active fuel management).
