Rear Spoiler lights

Has anyone attempted to remove and install some lights in their spoiler on either side of the third brake light?

 

I want to add some emergency LED strobes (Amber) on the spoiler, I know I have to drop the headliner to get access to unbolt the spoiler, just curious if anyone has done this or seen it done

That's a solid idea, I haven't seen it done yet though. Another option would be mounting lights on a roof rack.

Me too, plus any taller and I can't get in parking garages. Lol

If you do something up there, order the 8 nuts that hold the spoiler in place as they are one time use.  P/N 11611049.

Ain't that truth!  Already suffer from this with the led light bar mounted on top of the sport bar.  Both are via GM Accessories.  Also unable to enter most automated car washes.
