Hi All,

I found a weird electrical issue in my 2013 Silverado today.  When 2 power window switches on the drivers side window control are quickly pulled up and then released, the radio goes dead then restarts. This only happens when 2 switched are quickly pulled up and released. If they are held up for a few seconds then released, no problem. If they are pushed down and released, no problem.

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? I find it strange that its only when 2 switched are quickly pulled then released. Otherwise there is no problem.

It has the BOSE with navigation if that matters.

Thanks for any thoughts or insights.

Seems like the amperage draw is causing the voltage to drop enough so that the radio shuts off and resets itself.  Need to put a Tech-2 on it and check the internal codes.  My guess the battery is getting weak.

Listen to James, I was gonna say "If its electrical and weird look for a bad ground. " I'm not saying he's right and I'm right, or either of us is wrong, but I think his answer is the one to chase down first.
