Hey does anyone know if my Lifter fails

and have a delte kit with cam could I get dealer to do it? sounds silly but would be nice lol

I was looking for a replacement lifter guide, and I didn't want to wait for Amazon, so I went to a Chevy dealer to get one (which cost 4 times as much as it would on Amazon for the exact same part) and mentioned "AFM delete". The service manager immediately held his hand over his ears and said we don't know what that means, and we are not allowed to talk about it. That has nothing to do with us, and we can not help you in any way - it's against the rules.

No, a dealership will not do that sort of service.

 

They have no way of turning off the AFM or DFM system in the computer for that. Only an shop that deals with aftermarket tuning and performance parts would be able to do that. Prepare to pay a lot of money on a newer truck like that to get it done.
