Question About Adding USB to Console Under Armrest?

Has anyone added a USB connector in the storage compartment under the armrest? My truck didn't have them installed there, like some others do. Does it come wired to just purchase the GM part (like seen below) and plug and play?

I'm new to the forum, but I'm hoping a post might revive this topic.  I have a 2024 RST, which has USB connections in the dash and in the back seat at the base of the center console.  I would like to add a new connection below the arm rest in the center console.  My plan is to make a harness to split the power at the rear usb, but I'm looking for wiring information.  I've look on GM upfitters, but I'm not sure which years share the wiring of the 2024.

This is a great question.  I'd love to know about this as well.  2023 Silverado LT. Doesn't have it.
