2017 5.3 95k miles

Getting on the freeway skynyrd up loud, really gave her the onion.

engine light pops up & a smell of burnt electrical creeps into the cabin. I get this POS home. Checks out with code P2635 " fuel pump A low flow/preformace"

my first thought would be a burnt fuse or relay on the driver side because of the smell. Bench tested all relays & checked fuses.. nothing out of the ordinary.

The truck now does extended crank time almost having to turn it over twice to get it to fire up. After about 10 minutes (looses fuel pressure)

am I missing something easy?? Or do I waste time with my local shitbag dealership

Might be hard to get at but you could inspect the connector on the back of the high pressure fuel pump.
