Hello all,

Newbie from south Texas here,

Just wondering if there is such a thing as an update that is downloadable for the 2015 GMC Sierra (All Terrain) truck Infotainment system (Itellilink)?

I don't believe the 2015 has that capability. I know when my 2016 needed an update to give Android Auto capability, the software installation had to be done by the dealer.

I know this is old , but i have 2016 and I was also wondering same.  You said the dealer is only way update infotainment system for this year Sierra?  I have android Auto capability and mostly works fine, only problem i have is with calls through bluetooth sometimes get stuck after ending the call.  I have to either turn off Bluetooth or make call back and end it myself.  I am thinking update software may help...

As far as I was aware, there was only 1 software update to be able to use Android Auto and if that is working, you already have that update. Mine was a late 2015 build so it had the AA capable stereo, it just needed the software.

What I might suggest though is to unpair the truck in your phone's Bluetooth settings and then get into the AA settings on your phone and select to forget all cars. On my Samsung Galaxy, it is in the phone settings under connected devices. Then in the truck stereo, delete the Bluetooth pairing. I don't recall if in the truck's AA settings if there is a spot to delete your phone.

Once you have everything removed on both your phone and truck stereo, re-pair the phone with the stereo, and then plug in the USB cable to launch AA. See if that makes a difference.
