So I have a 1999 GMC Sierra 1500 4 by 4 I have removed the transfer case from itch and put a transfer case out of an 04 GMC Sierra 1500 4 by 4 a truck that I have both 5.3 now the plug for the transfer case electric motor from the 04 doesn't have the to plug system is just one my 99 has the two plugs system one Lake in the front of the electric motor and then the wiring harness that comes out of it so there is 10 wires I believe what do I do now that the one transfer case I put back into my 99 only has seven wires

Need to change wiring harness from a 99 to 04 transfer case motor my 99 has like 10 wires for the transfer case motor but the new transfer case that I put in only has 1 7 pin plug

Can you just swap the motors?

 

The wiring swap will not work because the rest of your truck is wired like a 99-02 model and the 2003-2007 wiring is all different.
