Max tire size with stock suspension

I have a 2021 Silverado LTZ RWD

 

I was wondering if anyone has actually installed 33x12.5x20  tires with the stock 20” chevy wheels and if so did it rub?

 

I would like to upgrade tires and keep the same wheels. I don’t mind loosing the mus flaps but not willing to install a level or a lift.

 

I have searched for answers but did  it find a concrete answer.

With a 12.5 wide on a stock wheel you'll probably be rubbing on the upper control arm. You need some negative offset from an aftermarket wheel to move the tire away from the control arm. If you do a 11.5 wide you should be fine though.
