I have a 2009 Silverado RCSB, my door locks seem to stop working. Sometimes it will unlock the driver side door but only half unlock the passenger side. If I sit there with the door open and press the lock/unlock button on the door panel you can hear clicking coming from that inside fuse panel.

I know the door locks work, buttons work, fuses are good, my guess and research on this topic brings my to that relay? My guess is the relay is bad and power is being sent into it and than it’s just clicking cause it’s burnt out and power can’t get thru it to go to the lock actuators? From what I read you have to pull that whole fuse panel out unsolder the relay to install a new one.

is this the right direction to go or am I researching and reading the wrong things? Lol

Not sure if you figured this out or not, but if it’s unlocking it halfway sometimes, it sounds like the lock actuator is weak. I had a 99 Suburban that did the same thing. Not sure how involved it is (I never bothered with it on mine), but if you want to do it, I’m sure you can find instructions on YouTube.
