WOW. What a difference!!

Like I stated in an earlier post, I put my 1995 Silverado up for sale, and returned my 02 back on the road. What a difference from 3 months of driving a 95 2-wheeler to getting back in the 02!

It fired right up, so I took it out on the highway for awhile. Then I stopped into my work, gave it a fresh oil-and-filter change, and topped up washer fluid. (I am a Technician at a used-car store) Also gave it a full grease-job.

Tomorrow I will wash and wax it. Supposed to be around 40 degrees here, so that is cool. Warm enough so nothing freezes!

02 Silverado

Oh, and have really been considering a dual exhaust of some sort. My 95 has a Flowmaster system on it, and that was nice to hear while driving.

Yep, always nice to have the preferred ride back. I definitely love getting into the truck after cramming into the Crown Vic for 8hrs.

I enjoy driving my 02. But as preferred rides go, I sorta "share" with other vehicles.

I also own a 2001 Firebird Ram-Air, that has only 8000 miles on it. As you can see, I have owned it for 3 years; and maybe gets driven 1 or 2 times a week.

I also own a 1978 Corvette, all-original with only 31,000 miles on it. It has not seen the light of day for a LOOOONG time.

I am a GM car and truck fanatic

Crown Vic?!?

You have my sympathies! Can't you file a grievance for "cruel and unusual" work conditions?

Amen to that. They've talked about ordering an Expedition, but that's going to be for the accident investigators. The supervisors are also getting the confiscated Suburban. Sincity has me tempted after he told me most of the force in Henderson drives Tahoe's...but to move cross country

Maybe you should move to Miami, they use H2's! (On TV anyway!! LOL  )

Our county confiscated a Choo-Choo conversion F-350 Dually a few months ago. Turns out it is white, so they striped it, put bubble-gum machines on the roof and when they go to a bust or have the need to haul anything of any size, they go in style!!

This thing has diamond plate EVERYTHING, push bar, alcoa wheels, leather, roof, TV, I mean everything.!!

A very sweet ride for a Furd!

Ugh!

You know why they use Ford's, don't you?

Can you say "low bidder?"

The Summit County, Utah, Sheriff tried a Dodge Intrepid for awhile. Haha, was THAT a debacle! So there are MUCH worse things than a Crown Vic.

BTW: I was watching Motorweek on Speed Channel. Seems that the new Pontiac GTO will actually be an imported Australlian Holden.

Think about it: Rear Wheel Drive, Vortec V8.

Can you say "purpose-built interceptor??"

Thank you GM! Bout time they got back into the RWD V8 car business. I had better check out that baby when she hits the showroom.

GM already announced recently that they won't outfit the GTO for pursuit use. It is just going to be a limited production vehicle. That idea has already come up due to the aging Camaros. Plus the pricetag on it would be prohibitive.
