Daytona

I'll be in Orlando for a couple of weeks leading up to the Daytona 500 and I have the weekend to do whatever I want. Thinking of hitting the Bud Shootout and possibly qualifying on Sunday.

Who's been there and what are the better tickets? Right now the Petty and Earnhardt towers are available. Says row 40, but I'm not sure if they count from the bottom up or vice versa. Either way, maybe it's worth going even if it's not a "perfect" view.

Any tips or advice?

been ther done it----was awsome at the track----rows count from bottom up---can't remember where good seats are -- but up alittle will be just fine--also the higher up you go-- the more it usually costs --such as in tower seats---will go back again as soon as i can

These seats are $95. Row 40 may be some decent seats then. I won't be in town for the 500, but the Bud Shootout would be pretty cool too as I've yet to attend a NASCAR race.

Well, I bought tickets for the Bud Shootout on Tuesday. Today I found out work isn't going to send me down there for training (was supposed to leave next Monday). What a crock. They will reimburse me for the ticket though. Not a happy camper.
