I ran my 2001 2500HD 6.0L 4x4 crewcab across the scales at work and it was around 6K lbs.

According to the digital scales at the town dump, my '99 Z-71 regular cab, 8 ft bed, weighs 5,040 pounds with me in it (I weight, ahem, 210 lbs). That seems kind of low, though, I've always thought.

I believe ours comes in at around 3,700, curb weight.
