Hi,

I have a 2018 Silverado LT 4WD with about 26,000 miles on it.  Whenever i am full turn on the steering wheel be it full left or full right i get clicking noises from what I can tell on both front sides of the truck.  I really only hear it if i am in reverse and the steering is fully cranked like when i am backing into my garage.  I will hear it once in a while when i am turning full tilt into my driveway forward.  You will hear the drivers front click a few times and then the passenger side will click a few times.

No noise when turning the wheel when the truck is not moving.  Only starts once the truck is moving slowly.  Driving normal there is no noise at all.

Noise is still there if vehicle is in 2WD, Auto or 4WD.

Its not a slow click.  At 2mph full turn you will hear tick tick tick tick pretty quickly and then it goes away.

Is it my CV joints on both sides?  My bumper to bumper warranty is gone because of age, but wondering if covered by powertrain warranty.

I cant tell if its CV joints, brakes, the wheels, etc.

Anyone else have similar issues?  I will see if i can get someone to record the sound.

Ok i pulled 2 videos from my camera where you can hear the ticking/clicking sound.  You hear basically tick tick tick and then you can hear where i shift from either drive to reverse or reverse to drive, so that part ignore.

Does it still sound like CV joints to you guys?

Any update? Battling this concern right now. Just spent $300 on a new cv axle. Didn't change a thing. Mine only clicks when backing and turning to the left. The sound is coming from driver front.

So apparently its my wheels or the wheel bearings making the noise.  If i rotate my tires, or if i loosen the lug nuts and retorque them, the sound goes away for a couple weeks but then comes back.  Weirdest thing ever, but someone on the facebook group mentioned it to me and as soon as I did it the sound went away for a couple weeks.  It came back, but i just loosened my lug nuts and retorqued them over the weekend and its gone again.  Im assuming will be back again.
