New Chevy

Hey guys,

I recently visited an auto show at the Texas State Fair. When I visited the truck section I saw two pickups that caught my eye. They were a Chevy and GMC fullsize with the 6.0L HO and rearwheel drive. Since then I have been researching the trucks everywhere and I am having no luck. They were called the Silverado and Sierra High Output. Is this just a big joke someone played on me? Someone please tell me they have heard something about it. Help Me Please!!!

Yeah, but don't hold your breath on the 6.0L becoming a regular option on 1/2tons. Almost all of those prototypes on the homepage have them. I bet few if any of them will have it if they make it to production.

Is that the same HO 6.0 L in the SS and Escalade?

lol...GM has a tendency to put much bigger engines in their concepts. If I'm not mistaken, the prototype SSR was suppose to have the 6.0 L in it too, right? Instead it ended up with the 5.3 L.

the engine that they want to put into the new concept trucks actually has more hp than the SS and Caddy's...i think they changed the cam and tuned it up a little more...if i remember right 400hp or something like that...
