Campershell with 3.0 Duramax

For those of you that have a shell with the baby max, what effect did it have on your mpg?

 

Im thinking about ordering an A.R.E CX Revo camper shell for my 2022 sierra refreshed 1500. I have the baby Duramax and am curious how much my mpg's will go down. Im getting great mileage right now so Im hoping it wont go down too much.

I don’t have the baby Max in my 2020 1500 LTZ. I have the 5.3 with 8 spd Tracy. The A.R.E. shell is light weight and aerodynamic. I didn’t see any decrease in fuel economy..

I have a 2020 Chevy LTZ with a Lear 100XQ. It adds weight but helps aerodynamics. I think it's a wash. That said. I love the extra lockable storage.
