Thank You!

That got the memory mill churning. Mine was a 66 Ford Custom 500 FE series big block. To the ground and back. Body, interior, suspension and full driveline.

You are correct, an experience you never forget and can't be cancelled.

My brothers and I built a few cars along with owning most of the factory performance cars. My favorite was a 74 Impala Custom with a 454, 700R4 transmission and a 373 posi. My wife drove it for 3 years. My brother did a complete transformation with a 72 cutlass. Starting with a 455. I eventually bought that one. My dad transformed a 72 Ford one ton in 1972. It had a modified 390. It out ran my 1974 Barracuda. Lastly the highest honor in my family goes to my youngest brother who bought a 79 little red express truck new. Still has it races it a few times a year. It looks stock currently running a 440. It’s tuned to run as fast as allowed without a roll bar. Amusingly after all the performance vehicles I’ve owned. Sitting in my garage for the last 21 years is an Acura Intagra type R. It’s still around because it’s my wife’s. I’m glad my enthusiasm rub off on her. The two fastest vehicles we have she bought.
