Main body to frame ground strap fails where salt is used on roads

I stumbled on this video on line from South Main Auto so I thought I’d check my truck and see if my ground strap was bad. Sure enough it was already brittle. I was able to break it in half after I pulled it off. GM engineering placed it right behind the passenger side front tire. What could go wrong 🙄. Maybe if they would have used stainless it would last but not the cheap piece of crap they did use.
