If for some reason they won't, you'd need a relearn tool.  I haven't had to touch a relearn tool on mine yet, even when swapping winters to summers.

Note from the operation of the system:

"If a new sensor has been installed or tire rotated, the vehicle must be stationary for about 20 minutes before the system can start the process of calculating correct sensor locations. For this to happen, the vehicle will need to be driven at speed greater than 20 km/h (12 mph) for about 10 min.

I started another thread with more details, but this did not work at all. At the suggestion of another user, I tried putting it in relearn mode. I had tried that previously three times and that did not work either. I even tried using strong magnets on the sensors without success, What finally worked was starting the truck, putting it in relearn mode, then immediately driving it. Even though it exited relearn mode as soon as I put it in gear, that procedure ended up doing the trick, as 9 miles later it recorded the correct positions. It's obviously a buggy, unreliable feature. Last thing you want is to be on a road trip and see your tpms system tell you need air in your left front tire, when you right rear tire is really the one with the problem! I bought a relearn tool for future use to ensure the system knows the correct tpms locations.

Bumping an old thread for a related question. Does anybody know if this issue applies to trailer  tpms sensors? I had a 2019 that came with a set of sensors that sat in my glove box for 4 years. I now have a 2023 and a trailer that I want to put the sensors in. Did the trailer sensors also change part numbers, and would I be able to program these ones on the new truck?
