2019 trail boss oil issue (possible main seal)

Hey guys new to forum, anyone have any issues with Rear main seal on 2019 trail boss 5.3, truck is babied, 72,000 highway miles, and I come out seeing a oil leak, thinking it was a engine cooling line, but dealership is telling me rear main seal, going in morning to see for myself (I looked before bringing it, amd oil was leaking near starter(that’s what made me think engine cooling lines)

any help or any one have this issue (truck is 3 years old)

Only oil leak I've dealt with on my 2020 so far has been the lube tech failing to tighten the oil filter.

No leaks from mine. 2021 low miles 5.3L.

50k on my 5.3 2019 Silverado Z71. No oil leaks. I have used nothing but full synthetic 0w20 oil and quality oil filters made in the USA. I change my own oil and filter when weather permits. But when it needs to be changed in winter I have the dealer change it.

Steve, I have a 2019 Trail boss 5.3 and noticed during the recent cold blast we had here in N. Georgia some oil spots on the ground in the front side of the engine... of course I flipped out as I am a maintenance nut. Very quickly found GM Customer Satisfaction program notice N212326940. When I called my local dealer he agreed immediately this was the issue and made me an appointment. Mine just flipped 33k and already this is the third trip in.. very dissapointed so far with the quality issues. A few months back I had to take in in for a transmission shutter that had been going on, come to find out GM had issued another bulletin about a number of 2019 Silverado's had the wrong trans fluid put in at the factory. The flushed 3 times and put in Mobile HP FS, problem solved and no charge to me. Can't believe I didn't receive anything from GM or a recall letter. Same with this oil cooler line issue, they know about it but don't send anything out.
