I purchase part number 85527846 from GM and no install instructions were included. I picked up the part from Billion GMC in Iowa City IA. I contacted them and they have no clue where the one single wire is plugged into which harness. Only paper that came in the box is attached. Anyone with the “accessory” install book who can look it it up would be greatly appreciated.

FYI, I’m trying to install these as well right now and another member on here has stated that the dealer instructions are not accurate. The plug in location is not accurate on that PDF. Check out this thread. Let me know how your install goes

It’s the black connector way in the back. It still goes in the 1st slot as the attachment. Just installed mine last week.

So was it as simple as removing the black BCM connector, finding the "1" slot, removing the plastic clip on the black connector and sliding in the pin on the grey wire from the door sill harness, then putting it all back together?

Yes but it was an extremely awkward angle to work at since it’s all the way in the back. Also the passenger side has a ground connection

Are still plates suppose to be on all the time, I have no light coming from black conector slot 1 only have power coming from red and green hot wires please I need some help on where to connect grey wire .
