Spare Tire Question

I searched and did not find this question...

 

I own a 2015 Silverado (Crew Cab). I am wondering if a regular 20" (LTZ) Rim and tire will fit in the spare tire space under the truck.  It holds an 18 inch spare currently, but I was wondering if anyone has tried to put a regular 20" rim and tire under there.

Yes it would fit. The spare tire is going to have roughly the same rolling diameter as the tires that are already on the truck. The size of the rim won't matter here, it just has to be the same diameter tire.
