Horn fuse keeps blowing out

Any ideas why my horn fuse has blown out 2 times in 1.5 weeks? Its really cold out if that has anything to do with it, but I definitely dont think it should be happening this frequently.

Its a 2001 Sierra Z71 SLT, if that matters at all.

the horns fill up with water..if you only use them for very short toots it doesnt blow the fuse..i got cut off hard 1 day and blasted the horn.it only lasted about 6-7 secs and blew the fuse..i got the horns replaced under warranty.there is a t.s.b. for it but not sure if your still under warranty but that was my problem..good luck

mine is an 01 2500 H/D

With a goog fuse in try blowing the horn with 1 unplugged then try with the other unplugged. one will not sound or sound really sick. that is you bad one and in need of replacement.

Thanks for the replies gents. Fortunately I still have 2 mos of warrantee left on the truck (it was GM Certified when I bought it last month.) Is therea list of TSBs anywhere that I can ask them to do when I bring it in?

Are there any important ones that people recommend I get?
